Mattress Topper

I was wondering, if my doctor prescribed that I have this would Medicare Insurance assist in paying for this? I had a feather one but it’s 7 years old now and pretty well flat, giving me no benefits of pain relief at all. There is a really nice one out recommended for Fibromyalgia patients that looks very nice but costs about 400.00 which is tough to come up with when you’re on a fixed income.
I thank you all for your answers but I really wanted an answer to my question if anyone had the answer not information on Fibromyalgia or other insurances. I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia for nearly 10 years now and take Cymbalta, Vicodin, Soma, etc. for the pain managment as well as therapy, etc. Nor am I in the market for a mattress, I have a wonderful Select Comfort mattress that helps immensly but the feather mattress pad I have has worn out and I saw that there are some that are highly recommended for people with Fibromyalgia that costs a considerable amount more than what I paid a few years ago for my old feather mattress and just wondered if anyone knew whether Medicare would assist in payment if it were prescribed by my doctor.

Our dog pee’d on the mattress topper/cover. Is there anyway of cleaning it?

When I bought the mattress topper it said king size sheets would fit, but mine do not. Does anyone know what size I need? I have looked into the deep pocket king sheets but there are several options for "deepness" to pick from. Does anyone know if 15" deepness would work or do I need to go deeper? I have tried googling dimensions but I am still having trouble. I figured my Y!Answers peeps would be the best to ask!!!

They both come out to about the same price (about ). Serta seems to be a more trusted brand, but the extra inch might be nice as well. I’m at college in an uncomfortable "twin extra long" (which turned out just to be a twin) and want to get better sleep. Both got pretty good reviews; which should I get? I’ve never had memory foam before. Should I spend an extra and get a 3" Serta one?

I’ve checked at Walmart and Target and the such and the ones I’ve found all seem to be 1". My friend got the 1" from Target for and it helps a bit, but I’d rather get a thicker one.

I would like to be able to fold and unfold my futon without the topper falling or sliding around. Any thoughts?

I bought an 11" memory foam mattress, which I believe is 8" of non-memory foam at the bottom, and 3" of memory foam on top. I have had the mattress for about 6 months, and in the past 3, my lower back has started hurting. I think that the problem may be that it is too firm. Can I add another memory foam topper to it in order to soften it up? Thanks!

We left the topper we got from costco to expand for over 72 hrs already and it still hasn’t. We can see that it expanded in the middle but not the sides. Is there something I can do to get it to expand? It’s not cold here. The temperature is about 75 (24 C)

I want to buy a latex mattress or mattress topper. I want high quality all natural latex and the pad must be at least 4". I have a budget of 0 please post any website that fits this criteria. The cheapest one gets best answer however it must meet all the criteria

is a memory foam topper a good idea?

in an oversize machine with cold water??? or must it be dry cleaned. Have small dried blood spot (new)

it has bulges from the way it was packed. will it eventually become flat?

I just bough this one from Linnens and More, there was also another one called Dream memory foam, but I figured the Thera P would be a better one. Coming out of the box its really flat. Is it suppose to expland within a while? How long? Or should I take it back?

I now have one of the memory foam mattress toppers, i’ve had it for about 4 months. It’s been great but now that i have slept on it a lot its beginning to flatten. I sleep right in the middle of the bed and now the middle of the mattress is not firm and its starting to really affect my back. Is there anyway to fix this?
